What To Expect

Feel the night of Lappish winter shrouded in darkness, but with thousands of stars and the magical lights dancing across the sky. Hunting the Northern lights in a spectacular Finnish wilderness is a thrilling experience, as you sit back on (or drive by yourself, depending on the snow condition and location) a sled pulled by a Husky team. Going on Aurora hunting with professional guides, you will also experience the Lappish night to the fullest with traditional Lappish BBQ.

Not wheelchair accessible. Customer MUST provides reachable phone number. The tour will start between 18:00 and 21:00. Departure time may vary depending on the seasons and availability, please double-check with the local partner. At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place on weekdays and Saturdays. At least 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sundays and public holidays. Infant seats available. Children under 12 year old must be accompanied by adults paying the full price. Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Most travelers can participate. Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking. Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed due to they are subject to weather conditions and the solar activity. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 24 travelers. Campfire BBQ: chicken sausage, marshmallow and juice (vegetarian/vegan alternative upon request). Husky Sleigh Ride 5-10km (4pax per sleigh, drive by your self or the guide depending on farms). Hunting Northern Lights in the forest. Winter clothes: overalls, boots and gloves
