What To Expect

This tour combines snowshoeing, a relaxing way to enjoy Lapland’s beautiful nature, with a quest to see the magical Northern Lights phenomenon.Upon meeting your guide in Saariselkä, you will be provided with all the equipment you need for this experience. You will then head to the Urho Kekkonen National park where you will enjoy a night time walk through winter trails.As you get some exercise and enjoy the fresh air, your guide will tell you more about the Northern Lights phenomenon. You will stop part way through the walk for a hot juice and snack, and there will be plenty of time for taking memorable pictures of the aurora.
