What To Expect
Go hunting for the Northern Lights in a comfortable, warm and cosy minivan! In this tour, you will be leaving from Saariselkä and you will drive towards the area with the best chance for seeing the Aurora on that particular evening.Your guide does all the necessary research and studies the forecast prior to the tour to ensure you have the highest chance of seeing the lights. Sometimes the sky might be clearer north or south of Saariselkä, so you might travel longer distances in search of clear skies on cloudy days.Once you find the right spot, you will stop and enjoy the aurora show while having snacks and hot drinks. Your guide will tell you more about the Northern Lights phenomenon and there will be plenty of time for taking memorable pictures.
