What To Expect

Snowshoeing is a fun and relaxing way to see Lapland’s beautiful nature. It is also an activity that requires no previous experience so all you need to bring is your camera and your adventure spirit!Upon meeting your guide in Saariselkä, you will be provided with all the equipment you need for this experience and you will head out for a walk in the snow. During this tour your guide will make stops to tell you about the local wildlife and plants that you might spot along the way.Your guide will adjust the trip's pace and itinerary to suit the whole group's physical condition. You will have a break when you find a good spot to rest and you will be able to truly enjoy the wilderness while sipping on a hot drink and eating a small snack.
