Start your tour off with a kick bike ride through the historical city center as you pass over the Tammerkoski rapids below the stone bridges. Your guide will take you through narrow alleys inside the old factory areas.Visit the Finnish Labor Museum and admire the magnificent frescoes painted by Hugo Simberg in the Tampere Cathedral. Take a break as you enjoy a light soup lunch in the local market hall, followed by a tasty sweet dessert and hot beverage. After lunch the road leads you to Näsinneula sightseeing tower where you'll have a clear view over the town between two big lakes and surrounded by large green forests. - Option 1) Please note there is the possibility to choose from a guided canoe tour for 3-30 people from Tampere harbor to Hiking Travel's base (only available from 1st June to 31st August) or a Nordic Ice skating activity from Tampere harbor to Hiking Travel's base (only available from 1st February to 31st March). Please note a minimum of 3 paying adults is required for the canoe tour
- Option 2) Sauna bath in Kaupinoja public sauna with sauna drinks (beer or juice)
- Option 3) Two-course dinner at Gastro Pub Tuulensuu with the option of either local beers, wine or non-alcoholic drinks from Nordic Brewery. Your guide will bring you to the pub where you can enjoy the rest of your tour without them
- The minimum age to participate is eight years old and over
- This tour operates on a minimum of two people and can accommodate a maximum number of 20 people (except for the optional canoe tour which can hold a maximum number of 30 people)
- Participants are required to dress accordingly to the weather
- This tour is suitable for electric wheelchair users as this is a bike included tour, please let your guide know in advance if you would like to participate in the canoe or ice skating activities
- This tour is suitable for pregnant women, it is up to their discretion whether they would like to participate
- Service animals are allowed on this tour except on the sauna experience
