What To Expect
Welcome to the Blaye Citadel Unesco site built by Vauban to defend Bordeaux.
Blaye is located in the North of Bordeaux in the Estuary of Gironde, area famous for the Red Wine and White Wine.
Blaye is located on the other side of the Médoc, less tourist, more personal visit and time to enjoy.
After visiting the Citadel with a guide of the Tourist Office, we are going to visit a Château with a wine tasting.
A guide of the Château explain you all things about this area, old wine and the diference between the other side Medoc.
In addition, the visit to a Château with the tasting and discovery of quality wines, red wines give fruity, round and attractive wines, with a powerful and warm palate.
The tasting is included in your tour.
Concerning the white wines, they are dry and fruity, the white Côtes de Bourg have a harmonious, creamy and well-balanced taste.
