where French royalty were crowned on a guided day tour from Paris. Visit the cellars of reputable champagne producers, learn about the history of the region, taste local wines, and enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Start with a pickup from your hotel or accommodation and head for the heart of the champagne region, Épernay. Take a guided tour of one of the grand champagne houses such as: Moet & Chandon, Mercier, Nicolas Feuillatte, Veuve Clicquot, Taittinger or other famous champagne houses, depending on availability,
as well as a smaller estate later in the day.
Discover local gastronomy and savor a 3-course lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit a local champagne house and meet the people behind the production of this great drink.
See the magnificent Reims Cathedral, marvel at its Gothic architecture and learn about its
role in history of the region and some of the treasured contained within its walls.

Drinking age is 18; those under 18 years of age will be offered a variety of nonalcoholic grape juices. Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Infants must sit on laps. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Most travelers can participate. Visit of major champagne houses is subject of availability and can be replaced by: MOET ET CHANDON, Pommery, G.H MUMM, Veuve Clicquot, Mercier, Canard-Duchêne, Nicolas Feuillatte, Lanson. Caves and wine cellars are usually cold around 45°F / 10°C; do not forget to bring warm clothes with you. It takes around 2 hours to reach the champagne region and close to 2 hours to go back to Paris depending on the traffic.. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers.
