Crathes, a stunning 16th century Castle with amazing gardens.

At the farm we offer you the chance to learn about and meet our native breed of cattle and have a Highland Beef lunch.

Enjoy an amazing tasting tour around the Royal Lochnagar distillery which produces a world class single malt Scotch whisky.
Balmoral Castle is an option instead of the distillery tour.

All tours can be tailored to suit and the farm and distillery are subject to seasonal opening times and require advance booking. Please contact us for details.

Most castle grounds are free to visit, but charge for interior tours. The stepped entrance at Dunnottar, requires a degree of fitness.
You must be over 18 to taste the whisky but younger people are permitted.

Not wheelchair accessible. Stroller accessible. Service animals allowed. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Most travelers can participate. Over 8's for farm tour and over 18's for distillery tour. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers.
