After meeting at Winchester Train Station, your first stop on this private tour will be at Westgate, the 12th-century gateway to Winchester. Your tour guide will then lead you on to The Great Hall where you'll hear all about the Legend of King Arthur. You'll then walk along the high street until you arrive at the world-famous Winchester Cathedral. Here, your tour guide will start a discussion of the lady who left her mark not only on the city of Winchester, but the whole world: Jane Austen!See where poet John Keats was inspired when walking the banks of the River Itchen and finally, to top off a wonderful day exploring literary icons, you'll see the Jane Austen House.
