Explore the life, works and tales of Glasgow's most famous designer, architect and artist, Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Join this tour and wander around the streets of MacKintosh's home city to experience and witness his lasting legacy.With your local guide, you'll take a deeper look at his life, marriage, influences and incredible expertise, while you visit some of his most famous works that still stand to this day. You'll even get to see his first married home and some lesser known treasures along the way. You'll learn about the temperance movement of the time that inspired Mrs Cranston, Glasgow's leading tea shop entrepreneur, who commissioned Mackintosh to design her famous tearooms. After this two hour tour, you'll finish up at one of these famed tearooms, the Willow Tearoom on Sauchiehall Street, to view the iconic designs firsthand and explore their extensive exhibition.
