Join this full day guided sightseeing tour departing from either Edinburgh or Glasgow, taking you to the stunning West Coast of Scotland, the perfect way to see Scotland's stunning countryside, hear about some of Scotland's most prominent history and sample some of Scotland's freshest seafood.Leaving your departure city, you'll head towards Loch Lomond, the largest expanse of fresh water in the country, where you'll stop off at the stunning conservation village of Luss. Whilst here, grab yourself a quick coffee, or why not do a spot of sightseeing over the Loch.Then you'll head deep into the Highlands, passing through enchanting forestry via Loch Awe, the longest loch in Scotland and jewel in Argyll’s crown. Graced with the rich history, you'll catch a glimpse of Kilchurn Castle, best known historically as a stronghold of the Campbell Clan. Leaving this piece of history behind, you'll continue through the Pass of Brander, the location where Robert the Bruce had a notable victory.From here, you'll head to the next stop of Oban, the star of this tour and lunch stop for the day. Grab lunch at the sea-side town of Oban surrounded by miles of dramatic shores and beautiful countryside. Here you'll have ample time to also explore the seaside town. Why not climb up to McCaig’s Tower, a prominent landmark, to take in the views over to the Isles of Mull and Kerrera, take a look at the tantalising Falls of Lora or treat yourself by trying some of the freshest seafood you’ll have ever tasted or take yourself along to the Oban distillery, one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland, for a wee dram at their bar.On the way back, you'll visit the seat of the Campbell Clan at Inveraray, where you'll stop so you can drink in the beauty of Loch Fyne. You'll have the opportunity to tour Inveraray Castle, an iconic Scottish visitor attraction, if you wish. From here, together with your guide, you'll begin your journey home.Your journey south begins by travelling along and over the Rest and Be Thankful Pass, the greatest way to end to your day. A perfect place to reflect and take it all in and get your final stunning picture before returning to your final destination.

  • Please note you can book to depart from Edinburgh (08.00am) or Glasgow (09.45am) from selecting the departure time when booking
  • Please indicate if you are travelling with another booking at checkout so that the tour provider can ensure that you are in the same vehicle if there is more than one bus on a tour
  • This tour requires a minimum of five people in order to operate, if this number is not met, you will be contacted by the tour operator
  • No matter when you visit, the weather in Scotland can be changeable. Please bring suitable clothing for all conditions, including a waterproof jacket, sunglasses and plenty of layers
  • You may bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated and a camera to capture the views
  • You are welcome to bring a packed lunch or snacks however the guide will also make some stops where you can purchase some meals throughout the day
  • Ensure you bring shoes suitable for short walks on rough or uneven terrain
  • Although most attractions and eating establishments visited accept card payments, it's recommended that you bring some cash with you
  • Please limit your luggage to 1 small/medium piece per person (no more than 15kg), and 1 small handbag or rucksack
  • Students must bring a valid ID
