What To Expect
Come along on this day trip and discover the beautiful countryside and villages featured in Downton Abbey, as well as wonderful filming locations used in the making of the show.After departure from central London in your private black taxi, your day will start with a guided tour of the manor house used as the grand interior of Haxby Park. Followed by a visit to the 11th-century farmstead that was used as the home of Mr. Drewe where Lady Edith's daughter was initially raised. Your guide will tell you anecdotes about the cast, filming and production along the way, transporting you into the world of the Crawley family.Next on the tour will be a lunch stop at the pub where Branson and Lady Sybil elope. Explore the picturesque Cotswold villages in Oxfordshire used in filming, before making your way to Downton village itself. Here, you'll take part in a guided tour of the village and see locations such as the hospital, post office, local pub, church and the home of the Crawleys. Afterwards, there will be some free time to explore the village before returning back to London.
