After meeting outside the ‘Fresh Bake’ shop in South Kensington Station Arcade, South Kensington underground station, we will make our way to Beit Quadrangle where Queen performed their first London gig in 1970. We will then pass the Royal Albert Hall where Freddie was star of the show at Fashion Aid. We will see where the site of Kensington Market was, where Freddie and Roger had a stall. We will move on to location of the legendary BIBA clothes shop, where Mary used to work and was regularly visited by a love-struck Freddie.
We will see where the apartment where Freddie and Mary first lived together. We will see a number of addresses associated with the early days of Smile and Queen. We will move on to Garden Lodge, Freddie’s country home in London. We will hear stories of Freddie’s time here.
