Jewel House Update 28 April 2023 - Ahead of the Coronation, a number of items have been removed from the Jewel House in order to be prepared for the Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May. The working Coronation Regalia, including St Edward’s Crown, the Imperial State Crown, the Sceptres, the orb, and a range of other items used during the Coronation are therefore not on display in the Jewel House this week, in preparation for the Coronation Service. Many of the Processional objects used are also no longer on display, as well as Queen Mary’s Crown, whilst they are prepared for the Coronation Service..
