Small group tour to Kutaisi monasteries: Gelati, Motsameta and Bagrati.

Join "Megobari tours" on Imereti religious gems tour. We will start our tour by visiting UNESCO protected Gelati monastery, which was an important scientific center since the Middle ages, and it is important today, as most of the Georgian royalty is buried there. We will continue to Motsameta monastery, where we will learn why it is an important spot for Georgian religion & enjoy beautiful views of the Tskaltsitela river from the Monastery garden! Finally, we will visit the royal Bagrati cathedral, learn about its history & enjoy panoramic views of Kutaisi. This is a small group tour, up to maximum 15 travelers.
