On this tour you will experience an enticing blend of history, culture, and gastronomy starting in Mtskheta, the old capital of Georgia. Later visit the famous Georgian wineries and palace where your tour will end in an underground wine bar in Tbilisi for a tasting.In the morning meet your guide at the reception of your hotel to travel to Mtskheta, the old capital of Georgia, that is over 3000 years old! You will be driven to visit the monastery Jvari dating from the 4th-6th century and the 11th century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.Later continue your wine tour at Château Mukhrani, founded in 1878 by the Prince of Mukhrani, heir of the royal family of Georgia. You will visit Ivan Mukhranbatoni’s palace, a forest – park stable and look at the vineyards and visit the ultra-modern winery.Visit Guramishvili's Marani. You can find here the oldest item of the Georgian cultural heritage – Thadeoz Guramishvili’s wine cellar, as for Georgian “Marani”. This sight of Guramishvilis and St. Ilia the Righteous is one of the most essential and magnificent touristic attractions in Georgia.
