African Re-Naming Ceremony:
Queen mothers, chiefs and Traditional Leaders will conduct a ceremony and bestow Ghanaian names on you unlike those imposed. For historical, diasporan were not given the opportunity to be part of such ceremonies because of the slavery.
Naming ceremonies are done for newborn babies in Ghanaian tradition. Often with names that carry a significance in a child's life base on the day of the week you were born. Local gifts will be given to all participants as well. It's for this reason to take part in such a significant event.

No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Most travelers can participate. This experience requires good weather.
