What To Expect

Combine a walking tour of Thessaloniki with one of the best things to do in the town, tasting authentic local delicacies. Try unmissable Greek foods such as traditional "koulouri" (circular bread), bougatsa (pastry with various fillings), pittas, stuffed sandwiches & also local sweets.

Meet at the harbour of Thessaloniki and then head to an old bakery - a hidden gem that stands for three generations, for the first stop. Sample some typical Greek breakfast pastries and snacks and then head to the open market of the town. Through little streets and alleys full of history, you'll arrive at the "Kapani" (open from Monday to Saturday) a vibrant, colourful and historic place. Once you'll finish strolling the market, taste some very original street food and have the chance to hear some interesting stories from your guide. A memorable tour not to be missed that mixes culinary treats with culture!
