Your afternoon starts with a guided tour of the Church of the Archangels and then hike over to the Evangelistria Monastery. It is a haven of cultural and historical artefacts. This 18th-century monastery is perched on the mountainside and surrounded by a lush pine forest. The chapel is decorated with colourful icons and there's also a museum displaying rare books and manuscripts. After a guided tour, you'll enjoy a tasting of some local wines. And you'll also have free time to wander around the grounds.
This island-hopping cruise offers you a great chance to discover some of the gems in the Sporades archipelago. First up, you'll sail to Skopelos. Its blue-domed churches and whitewashed villages are everyone's vision of Greece. After docking at Skopelos town, you can walk around its cobbled lanes and explore. At the start of the day, you'll visit the famous dog shelter of Skiathos in the hills above Troulos. Spend time at the shelter and join our guide for a one-hour walk through the hills. Then it's on to Maria's place in Agia Paraskevi for lunch. Once the food is cooked, you'll get to enjoy a tasty traditional Greek feast. Lunch will be served with wine, soft drinks and water. You'll also get a recipe book, so you can go home and cook some authentic Greek dishes.

You can expect dollops of déjà vu and nostalgia on this full day cruise. It all kicks off when we sail from Skiathos port for neighbouring Skopelos. Light refreshments are served as we head for the beach of Kastani, where Mamma Mia! was filmed in 2007. Then, it's just a few minutes' sailing to the neighbouring beach of Panormos, in time for lunch at one of the beach tavernas. Or, if you prefer, you can sunbathe and swim. The last stop is the beautiful beach of Milia for a final dip in the sea.
Discover Skiathos from a different perspective on this cruise. Relax on deck in the morning sun as you sail past the Blue Caves – a string of sea grottoes carved into the coastline – en route to the island's most beautiful beach, Lalaria. This sweep of white pebbles is a little slice of heaven and only accessible by boat. Follow this up with a stop at Kastro beach. Later, you'll sail on to mainland Greece, docking at a fishing village under Mt Pelion.

You'll see shoals of exotic fish, enjoy lunch on board, and all the benefits of a boat trip.
Skiathos is bursting with rugged Aegean charm, and there are few better ways to explore the island's secret spots than with this off-road 4x4 tour. Start the morning by hopping into your 4x4 and heading deep into Skiathos. First up is the former capital, Kastro. Abandoned two centuries ago, its eeriness is matched by the spectacular location on a rocky headland. Next, it's on to the Evangelistria Monastery, where you'll see a functioning distillery and visit the museum. For lunch – not included – head to Platanos, a typical taverna that serves up views as good as its food. Finally, we'll round off with a swim.
The Skiathos coast is full of gorgeous towns and with secluded swimming spots that are best accessed by boat. Climb aboard the yacht at Skiathos port and you'll be warmly welcomed by the crew. Sail for the portside town of Klima in Skopelos, before it's on to some of the best swimming beaches in the area – including the Mamma Mia! beach of Kastani, or beautiful Chovolo. More swimming and beach relaxing awaits at the Panormos beach, and at remote Tsouggria. The day-long excursion is filled with beautiful views, landscapes, dives into the blue-green waters and a light lunch.
