Public transportation options are available nearby. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Visitors can head directly to the Acropolis entrance, located on Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. Look for the sign ‘Timed Entry Ticket Holders’. Please have your ticket downloaded and ready to show. Your ticket will be available for download and sent via Whatsapp within 24 hours of your travel date. Tickets are priced at the standard adult rate, and visitors of all ages can use it to enter at the reserved timeslot. Entry is permitted only at the booked time slot, or up to 15 minutes before or after. Visitors are advised to arrive 30 minutes before their booked timed entry slot. All purchases are final. Tickets cannot be amended, are nonrefundable and nontransferrable. EU citizens under 25 years old and non-EU citizens under 18 receive free admission upon showing photo ID at the ticket booth. People with disabilities receive free admission upon showing a Disability Card at the ticket booth. PLEASE NOTE: free entry is limited to ticket and timeslot availability on site. In the event of extreme weather conditions and high heat, the Acropolis may close early. Terrain at the Acropolis site can be rocky, uneven and slippy.
