What you might not have heard about is the Lastos hike that takes you from the monastery of Archangelou Mychael through pine-tree forests, spectacular viewpoints where you can see Kyra Panagia and the fertile land in Mertonas that supplies water to Pigadia and the waterfalls in winter and spring. Enjoy hiking off the beaten path in this breathtaking landscape!Old Stavlos and the fertile land give you a clue about the settlers that once took advantage of this area and made it their own. Goats and sheep will be following you along the path, so do not feel alarmed by their bells ringing in the distance. They are as much part of this land as the rocks you'll walk on. Where you'll meet
The meeting point for bookings with transfer is at AutoTour/Miramare Hotel in Pigadia at 8:30am. If you book with your own transportation, meet the guide directly at the Art and Walk location in Pini, Volada 857 00 at 8:50am. Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

* You can choose between the option with transfer (for up to 6 people) and without transfer. If you select the option without transfer you will have to follow the guide in your car up to the starting point of the hike
* The tour might be canceled if unforeseen circumstances, such as bad weather, make the activity impossible or dangerous or if the minimum number of 5 participants isn't reached. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund
* It is recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes with good soles and take enough water with you (2 liters per person), some snacks, sunglasses, a hat and sunblock. A walking stick can be borrowed on request
