Small group hiking to the Valley of the Butterflies of Rhodes

With a comfortable transfer you can reach the Valle delle Farfalle, the excursion lasts about 2 hours of walking. Visitors can witness a spectacular phenomenon that rarely occurs in nature: An enormous number of butterflies, of a particular species called: "Panaxia Quadripunctaria", is found in this small valley during the final stage of their life cycle. Every year, at the end of the wet season (July to September) thousands of butterflies are attracted by the scent of the Eastern Styrax trees, covering the entire landscape.
