What To Expect
At the island of Crete we have a lot of walking possibilities, the most nice are those into the gorges. Especially at the west side of the island, we have a lot of gorges. Some very famous and crowded, others unknown. With of course a lot of differences in difficulty levels.
We would like to take you far away from tourist crowds, to the beauty of nature in the mountains. The Kydoni gorge is situated near the village Karanos, at the feet of the White Mountains, at an altitude of 550 m. from sea level. Traveling time approximately half-hour through a beautiful landscape.

Not wheelchair accessible. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Most travelers can participate.
