What To Expect
This is a private tour with a 7-seater van for a maximum 6 guests.
Elafonisi island and its beach are located in the southwestern tip of Crete, about 2 hours drive from Chania. It is regarded one of the best beaches in the world. This island is connected with Crete with a narrow and shallow strip of sand, forming with its long peninsula, exotic beaches with white sand and turquoise water. A shallow lagoon is formed, and you can walk to Elafonisi island and explore its beaches.
The road to get there goes through breathtaking Topolia Gorge, picturesque villages and the fascinating varied landscapes. The aim of this tour is not only to visit a beach, but the trip to get there is an experience itself.
We will park 1/4 of mile (1/2km) away and have to hike on a dirt path to the beach.
On the way back we will make a stop for lunch.
Optional visit to a Winery, Olive Oil Factory for Tasting Tour or Monastery upon request.

Important info
Not wheelchair accessible. Most travelers can participate. You must be able to get in and get out of the car. Elafonisi beach though definitely worth the visit. In case of traveller's serious health problems or other medical concerns please notify us. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate. Confirmation will be received at time of booking
