What To Expect
In the southwestern part of the Crete island, there is one of the most beautiful beaches, located at a distance of 200 kilometers from the city of Heraklion.
Elafonissi is a small island located close to the shore. It is connected to the land by a shallow passage 200 meters long, which is easily crossed on foot during the calm sea.
The crystal clear turquoise waters in combination with fine white and pinkish sand create a landscape of unmatched beauty.
Elafonissi is a virgin nature reserve protected by the European Union Natura 2000 program and is noted as one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.
During this tour, you will travel on a comfortable bus through the whole island and enjoy 4 hours on the famous beach swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing.
For your convenience, there are sun beds and umbrellas on the beach, as well as a cafeteria where you can buy snacks and refreshments.
Depending on the location of your pick-up the duration of the tour varies from 11 to 14 hours.

Not wheelchair accessible. Service animals allowed. Near public transportation. Infants must sit on laps. Infant seats available. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Most travelers can participate. If an infant does not sit on lap in the bus, It is necessary to pay a child ticket.. Pick-up from the specific bus stops next to the hotels. For pick-up from different location, please, contact us.. NOTE: The time on the beach is 4 hours, the rest time you will be traveling by bus, doing small stops.. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 50 travelers.
