Guided tour of Elafonisi beach and Gramvousa-Balos lagoon

Elafonisi or Balos-Gramvousa? Which one to choose? This time you don’t have to, thanks to this guided tour from Rethymno.You will leave from Rethymno 6.30am – 7.30am with your personalized pick-up service. After 2 hours driving, you will reach Elafonisi, where you will stay for about 2 hours. The main attraction of Elafonisi is the beautiful sandy beaches fringed with pink coral sand and the crystal-clear waters of the sea and the lagoon. As it is located at a remote corner of Crete you also get a sense of wilderness, being far from everything.Afterwards prepare yourselves for the wild route to mountain Vouxa. There will be 8 km of difficult dirt track to get to the national park by a safe 4x4 bus. The trip would be tough, but the amazing landscape around you will repay you for any effort. Rocky scenery on the one hand, refreshing light blue water on the other. Once at the top you can take the best “selfie” of your vacation – a panoramic photo of Balos and Gramvousa. Around 7.30pm – 8.30pm you will be driven back to Rethymno.
