Krka National Park is a 75-kilometre-long complex of travertine waterfalls of the Krka River, the largest such complex in Europe. Its largest waterfall, Skradinski buk, is 46 metres high and has 6 cataracts over which the Krka River gushes having the strongest flow in spring and fall.
The park contains numerous footpaths, leading through lush and invigorating vegetation, as well as wooden bridges crossing the river alongside the waterfalls. You will also visit the autochthonous ethno village with reconstructed old mills and the house exhibiting the ancient trades. Then we head to Šibenik, a Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance city, where the Renaissance masterpiece of Juraj Dalmatinac awaits – the cathedral of Saint Jacob, a UNESCO World Heritage Monument.
