Sr Mountain Tour

Once the scene of a fierce battle to decide Dubrovnik's fate, Srđ Mountain is now the site of a moving memorial to those lost in the Croatian War of Independence. You'll learn about the Croatian War of Independence, and hear what happened in the build up to the Siege of Dubrovnik – one of the most decisive battles in the four-year conflict.Atop Srđ's peak, there are wow-factor views over the Elaphite Islands and the Adriatic Sea, alongside a visit to the Napoleonic-era Fort Imperial. Inside, an exhibition tells the story of the seven-month bombardment campaign that Dubrovnik suffered at the hands of Yugoslav forces, and you'll get to meet people who lived through it.
