What To Expect
During this two-day trek, you will get a truly unforgettable jungle adventure with the local guides who are certified and professional English-speaking. You go deep into the National Park and will have many opportunities to see orangutans and other wildlife close to their natural habitat. You will stay overnight in a campsite near by river or waterfall in the Gunung Leuser National Park. On the last day, hike even deeper into the forest, the deeper parts of the rainforest you have a higher chance of spotting different species of birds as well like the great argus rhinoceros hornbill, etc., before tubing the Bohorok River back to Bukit Lawang.

Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Infants must sit on laps. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate. Confirmation will be received at time of booking

Traveler pickup is offered
We can arrange private transport with English speaking driver and A/C on demand up to max 4 persons per car. The transport can be from anywhere in North Sumatra with extra charge for private car. Just text us when need it.
There will be a meeting with your guide one day before your trek starts for a short introduction to your trek.We usually start the tour from our hotel (Wisma leuser sibayak) but we can also pick you up in Bukit Lawang in front of your accomodation.
