What To Expect

Take advantage of the 2023 seasonal element of this in-person city tour while the Galway Christmas Market is open! The shared tour is presented by an Irish Tourism professional. As one of Ireland's oldest cities, Galway is rich in history and stories. The theme of this city walking Tour is the History, Heritage and Culture of Galway from its Anglo-Norman past to the present progressive city.

On this walking tour, we make a point to visiting top city landmarks including the new Galway Cathedral, the Courthouse Square, the medieval Lynch's Castle, St. Nicholas' Church, the Latin Quarter, the King's Head pub and the Spanish Parade. You also get to explore the popular visitor attractions, the Hall of the Red Earl and the Galway City Museum while also allowing guests 'free time' to take photos and understand local culture.
