What To Expect

Explore Cork's incredible waterways and city quays during this kayaking excursion. You'll paddle along and discover the city from a whole new perspective. This fascinating urban kayaking adventure takes place in the very centre of Cork City and gives you the chance to explore the history of the city. Set sail along the River Lee and paddle under the bridges towards Blackrock Castle as you see the city like you've never seen it before. Originally built on swamp lands, Cork was referred to as the 'Venice of the North' for many years and this is something you'll hear all about on your tour.

Please inform your guide if you are not a strong swimmer
All you need to bring are your swimming togs, a towel and a pair of trainers you don’t mind getting wet. You should also bring warm clothes to change into afterwards
You must be over 12 years old to take part in this experience
It's strongly recommended that you wear the life jacket provided when on or close to the water
There is s a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 participants permitted per tour
