The archeological park offers an optional special activity - Petra By Night - a dazzling candlelight spectacle that takes place on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 20:30 in front of the Treasury. You can sign up for it at the park, for $25.. This tour will have a late Lunch on the 2nd day, so we recommend that you have breakfast before departure.. We recommend that you wear warm clothing in winter, a hat in summer, and comfortable walking shoes.. On your Petra free day, stick to marked paths and routes..
