This one day Petra tour from Tel Aviv is a convenient way to visit Petra for those on a tight schedule. Available from Tel Aviv, the tour transfers in the southern city of Eilat with full assistance to cross the border. Once in Jordan, drive past the stunning Wadi Rum desert landscape en route to Petra. Hear the history of the “lost city” of the Nabateans, visiting ancient sites like the Treasury, Obelisk Tomb, Jabal Madbach (the sacrificial palace), Roman Theater and Mountaintop Tombs. After two hours of guiding through these sites, enjoy time to explore Petra at your own pace and explore at leisure. Later in the afternoon, it will be time to head back to the border and cross into Eilat before returning to Tel Aviv.

For the issuance of the Jordanian visa you must provide the following information for all participants during the check-out: full name, email address, phone number, passport number, issue date, expiration date, nationality
Things to bring: passport(s), sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, scarf (for modesty), ATM card and cash, walking shoes, warm clothing for evenings in the desert
Please ensure you provide a valid contact number (including country code) which will be active during you joining the tour as it is important due to unlikely event of delays or problems
One overnight bag per person is permitted on the tour. If you need to bring additional luggage for any reason, please contact the local operator, whose information is in the booking voucher
The border fee of $65 USD must be paid with credit card to your representative (for crossing the Northern border, the rep will collect this upon pickup)
In the event that you do not have a pre-arranged visa, you will need to pay the $60 visa fee at the border. This needs to be paid in cash in USD or NIS to your representative. Please ensure you have this amount of cash with you in USD or NIS
