Explore the famous Bangalore Palace and discover its rich history.You will be impressed by the Tudor style of this architectural landmark as the palace was actually inspired by Tudor castle. Constructed in 1887, it is built on sprawling 400 acres. Admire the famous 19th-century paintings that adorn the interior walls of the palace, portraying viceroys, maharajas and other well-known people of past eras.Make sure you see the Durbar Hall with an elephant head mounted in it and the impressive dining table belonging to the Diwan of Mysore containing inlay with Chinese lacquer work. After visiting the interiors, you can wander in the palace grounds, which have hosted famous music concerts (such as Metallica and Iron Maiden) and other public events.
