Tipu Sultan is a legend on many counts. In this walking tour we will trace his life from the day he fought a tiger and killed it with a dagger, his brave battles with the British, his administrative and economic reforms and his pioneering usage of rockets in warfare. We will visit his Summer Palace, the armoury he kept to fight the British, a medieval temple, Bangalore Fort which was refurbished by Tipu’s father Hyder Ali and the bustling KR market.
Not wheelchair accessible. A dress code is required to enter places of worship. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women.. Near public transportation. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Most travelers can participate. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers.
