This two-day fully-loaded tour, accompanied by a Govt. of India-licensed guide, is planned from Bangalore to Hampi and back via Chitradurga Fort. Its landscape, filled with rice fields, rivers, hills, boulders, temples, forts, watch towers, aqua ducts, gateways, huge monoliths, and other hundreds of ancient ruins spread over 26 sq km, is unparalleled in its composition. Its a World Heritage monument maintained by UNESCO. Hampi, earlier known as Vijayanagara, was among the five richest capitals of the world in the 16th CE. All the highlights of Hampi—Vittala Temple, Virupaksha, Lakshmi Narasimha, Badavi Linga, Zenana, Mahanavami Dibba, Hazara Ramaswami, Sasivekalu Ganesha, Hemakuta Hill, Queen’s Bath, etc.shall be covered.
