Half-day Kochi city tour

After breakfast at your hotel, your half-day tour will start with a visit to fascinating sights like the Chinese fishing nets, the St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace - built by the Portuguese for the Raja of Kochi in exchange for trading rights. Take a stroll through the narrow cobbled streets, lined with antique and handicraft shops of "Jew town" and complete the tour at the Jewish Synagogue which is magnificently decorated by Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers, which is the oldest living Synagogue in the world. On the way back you will pass by Rose Street, near to St. Francis Church, where you will see Vasco House – and is believed that Vasco Da Gama stayed here (this house is presently occupied by a Dutch family and visit is not possible).
