Visit Arignar Anna Zoological Park, also known as Vandalur Zoo, one of the largest zoos in South Asia with a total area of 1490 acres located about 20 miles from Chennai city center. The zoo is home to 2,553 species of flora and fauna. It is located in the Vandalur Forest Reserve which gives the animals a natural habitat to live in.

Not wheelchair accessible. Minimum age is 9 years. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.. Visit timings are from 09.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.. The zoological park is closed on Tuesdays.. Infants must sit on laps. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions.
