What To Expect

Embark on an exciting buggy adventure starting right from your Reykjavik hotel! We'll pick you up & whisk you off to our base camp, where the real fun begins. Upon arrival, you'll meet your buggy and receive comprehensive safety instructions, ensuring you can enjoy the ride with confidence.
Then we leave our basecamp & after a short drive on the asphalt road, we'll transition to off-road terrain, setting the stage for an adrenaline-filled journey. Toward Reykjavik Peak Mountain, From the peak will you'll be treated to awe-inspiring vistas of the Hengill mountain range, Iceland's third most active volcanic system, Feast your eyes on the panoramic spectacle of Faxaflói bay and the entire capital region, with the majestic Bláfjöll mountain range & Esja, Reykjavik's iconic landmark, standing tall against the skyline.

Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Pricing is based on 2 people riding in one buggy car. Children ages 8 and up are only permitted to ride as passengers in the buggy car. A full valid driver’s license is required to drive the buggy car. A minimum of 2 adults per booking is required. No alcohol or drug tolerance is allowed on our tours. We have the right to breathalyze participants if our guides suspect a participant being under the influence and deny going on the tour. Again This is with your safety in mind. Participants showing up under the influence are not entitled to a refund.

All hotels in downtown Reykjavik are at a no pick up zone by the city.
Therefore you will need to walk to the nearest bus stop. It should be 2-5 minute walk from your hotel.

To choose what bus stop, please check your voucher for the website and type in your hotel address and choose which bus stop you want to be picked from.

You need to be ready at 09:00 or 13:00 - depending on what departure you book. The pick-up can take up to 30 min.
