5.01 review
On this day trip, you will visit some of Iceland's most stunning sights and will be able to make the most out of your day. The day starts with a visit to the Geysir geothermal area, where the active Strokkur geyser shoots a column of water up to 30 meters into the air every 4-8 minutes. The trip continues to Gullfoss waterfalls, a two-step waterfall filled with meltwater from Langjökull glacier. You will also visit the geological wonder of Thingvellir National Park, where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart a few centimeters every year. You will also visit the sustainable Friðheimar greenhouse, an eco-friendly farm where the geothermal heat helps to grow delicious tomatoes and where methods to manage pests are biological. The visit to the Friðheimar greenhouse, gives this Golden Circle trip a sustainable twist!
