Experience the thrill of ziplining through stunning scenery experienced by few, even the locals.
The river canyon, Glerárgil, is a hidden gem of nature splitting the town of Akureyri through the middle. We have made the protected area accessible with a thoughtfully designed trail and five ziplines, in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.

Important info
Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age is 8 years. Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Weight limits: 30 - 120 kg (65 - 260 lbs) for safety reasons. Sturdy shoes with good grip recommended. Bring a hair tie for long hair. Must be able to walk on uneven paths, at a moderate pace, for up to 10 minutes at a time. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers. Confirmation will be received at time of booking
