As it forms naturally every winter under the glacier, our guides have to search for them every winter since their location is not the same. Throughout the winter, the shape, size, structure and position of Blue Ice Cave keeps changing as the ice melts during the day and freezes again during the night. Not wheelchair accessible. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Most travelers can participate. For all departures, no cancellation or changes can be made within 24 hours from departure. In the event of bad weather, if the road to Jökulsárlón is open and our tours are departing as per normal, we are not obligated to reschedule or refund if you are not able to make your way to Jökulsárlón. You can claim from your travel insurance in those cases.. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers. Confirmation will be received at time of booking
