You'll be taken first to St. George's Castle, built by Francesco Gonzaga and one of the most important Renaissance buildings in the country. Your guide will then lead you to visit Piazza Sordello, the most ancient part of Mantua and still today the most important location in town, with its cathedral, the Palazzo Ducale and other palaces that date back to the Middle Ages.
Amongst many other attractions, you'll also see Piazza delle Erbe, the beautiful Palazzo della Ragione, and the oldest church in town, called La Rotonda, built back in 1082.
