Furthermore, the tower has a 297 step spiral staircase leading to the top, and is not recommended for visitors with back or heart problems and pregnant women. For safety reasons, children who will not have turned 8 are not permitted to enter. An adult must accompany under 18s. Kindly confirm you wish to include the Leaning Tower.. Inside all sites, handbags/bags/luggage are not allowed. Only small bags or backpacks will be accepted, with a max size of 20x30x38 cm.. Kindly confirm you wish to include the Leaning Tower to your visit, specifing the age of participants.. Please provide any mobility or wheelchair access and diet requirements, together with the age of children.
