What To Expect

Live an adventure experience. During this fantastic route of the Appia Antica, about 35km starting from Rome, you will meet tombs, ruins and mounds surrounded by greenery, until you reach one of the most beautiful lakes of the central Italy: Lake Albano (Castel Gandolfo), you can take a regenerating bath (be careful because there are no changing rooms and showers). In the center of Castel Gandolfo you will be surprised by the visit to a particular Osteria with a historic Cellar where you can taste local dishes. After eating together with your guide, you will go to the station to take the train that will take you back to Rome Central Station: Roma Termini, and then continue by e-bike to the starting point.

Food and drinks are not included in the price to leave you more freedom in choosing what (and how much) you want to eat. The price of all the things we will taste is usually around 25 €.

Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Infant seats available. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. The length of the tour is 35 kilometers (21 miles), 70% of which is off-road. The level is intermediate but it requires a minimum of cycling experience (difficult with a child seat or child extension).. Around 60% of this tour takes place in the via Appia Antica. The tour runs on carefully chosen streets, but some traffic is unavoidable to connect the Appian Way to the Lake Albano.. Infants up to 20kg traveling on a child seat, come on the tour free of charge. Children up to 139cm join the tour with a child extension. Children from 140cm and above can independently ride an E-bike. NOT INCLUDES: food and drinks are not included in the price to leave you more freedom in choosing what (and how much) you want to eat.
