You'll see the Teatro di Marcello, aka the Jewish Colosseum, an open-air amphitheater that looks like a miniature Colosseum. From here, you will stroll through Tiber Island and then soak up the sights and sounds of Trastevere. You'll enjoy a tasting at the History Bakery before strolling to the Santa Cecelia 5th-century church.Then, you'll head outside of Rome to reach the Via Appia Antica or Appian Way, one of the longest roads in the ancient world where Spartacus and his followers were crucified after their failed revolt.Your next stop is the Park of the Aqueducts, where some of Rome's most iconic structures are on display. Although most of the aqueducts are no longer in use, they are some of the greatest engineering feats of the ancient world! You will also see the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, one of the best-preserved ancient buildings in Rome!From here, you will head to Testaccio. a picturesque neighborhood home to many eateries. At the Testaccio Market, you will try traditional Roman pasta!
