La Traviata a Masterpiece by Giuseppe Verdi

Violetta Valéry, a charming Parisian courtesan, falls in love with Alfredo Germont and decides to abandon her life of luxury and transgressions to retire to the countryside with him. Their happiness, however, is interrupted by the arrival of Germont the father, who asks Violetta to leave Alfredo for the good of the family. Heartbroken by her pain, Violetta agrees and writes a farewell letter to Alfredo, who, shocked, publicly humiliates her. Suffering from tuberculosis, Violetta is now at the end of her life when Alfredo discovers her truth and runs to her to ask for forgiveness. In a final, heartbreaking meeting, Violetta passes away in the arms of her beloved, leaving an indelible mark in everyone's hearts.
