Trekking Weekend: Ieranto Bay & Punta Campanella

Saturday: We will begin our evocative walk from the Piazzetta di Nerano, in the pristine natural beauty of the Bay of Ieranto, a protected marine area and seat of the FAI. Among the shrubs of the Mediterranean scrub, wild figs and stones that protrude from the beaten earth, we will reach Punta Penna and the Montalto Tower, going through the FAI reserve to the beach of Capitiello, where you can stop to enjoy a regenerating bath and a little of relaxation. The return will take place retracing the path backwards. Sunday: The route will take us where the coast meets the Sorrento peninsula, creating a unique landscape of boundless beauty. Starting from the pine forest of San Costanzo, we will walk along the CAI 300 path of the Lattari Mountains, leaving behind the only small exposed section and we will continue to Pezzalonga, a steep descent on limestone. Between a photo stop and the other, we will reach the tower and the lighthouse of Punta Campanella, where we will allow ourselves a stop in the name of relaxation and spirituality and then resume the journey along via Minerva until we reach Termini, continuing for the stairs of the path that will lead to the top of Monte San Costanzo.
