Horse Riding

As you stirrup and saddle up for a horseback tour, you'll feel like a cowgirl or cowboy riding through the sun-soaked plains of Sardinia. Choose between an hour-long or two-hour tour through the Porto Conte Natural Park, a protected corner of the Mediterranean, replete with wildlife and sweeping panoramas.First, you'll meet your horse and get a quick briefing and trial run around the riding school's paddock. Once you're comfortable, you'll head out to explore Porto Conte park. You'll trot past pine forests, strawberry trees and wildlife on your trip. And if you're lucky, you'll spot wild rabbits, donkeys, goats and boar.Plus, bird lovers will be in their element with the chance to catch a glimpse of sea birds nesting on sheer cliffs as well as buzzards, kestrels and peregrine falcons. Sit back in your saddle and take in the sweeping views of the bay as you canter back to the stables.
