Nougat workshop with tasting in Badde Salighes

Visit Badde Salighes, a characteristic village situated in the Sardinian hills, learn about the nineteenth-century Villa Piercy and participate in a workshop where you will prepare a delicious nougat with local ingredients!Reach the villa built at the behest of the Welsh engineer Benjamin Piercy, and find out how he fell in love with the place, and set up his own business when he moved here to work on the construction of the Sardinian railway. Then, meet a local beekeeper and go to his laboratory to learn the necessary notions for the preparation of nougat, one of the characteristic sweets of the festivities in Sardinia.You will then try preparing it using all the genuine local ingredients such as honey, hazelnuts, and almonds. Once you have finished the first phase of preparing the nougat, you can take advantage of a walk to discover this fairy-tale village and to the villa's botanical garden. Back in the workshop, you will complete the preparation of the nougat, and enjoy a tasting of typical local products and, of course, of the nougat you have prepared.
